Invite teachers, students, and parents
There are several ways to invite teachers, students, and parents.
For a shortcut to the invite page click here. To navigate manually while in the administrator dashboard, click the “Setup” tab at the top. Look for the box on the right that says “Online Access”. Click “Invite”.
On the left-hand side, you will see drop-down menus where you can select to invite specific students, all students, specific parents, or teachers.
If you would like to write a custom invitation, click the “Customize Text” wording at the top and enter the information you want to convey in your invitation. Hit “save” to save the customized message. You will be taken back to the “Email or Print Login Instructions” page where you can enter the email addresses of those you want to invite.
If you would rather print your invitations to mail or hand out, you can select the names of the ones you want to print and hit the “Print Selected” button.
Those you email, will receive an access code embedded in a link. The printed invitations will have the access code printed on them.
Please watch this walkthrough video for more information on inviting teachers, students and parents to the ThinkWave system.
If you ever want to suspend someone's access, you can head back to this screen in the future and click the pause icon in grey next to the person's email address. To re-start their access, just click the same area which will now look like a grey “play button” icon
