For the past month, we have been reading city poetry and collecting city words, phrases, and objects in the Monday Creative Writing Workshop. Two weeks ago, we began to share the original work that sprung from this exploration. While many of the poems were wonderful—watch for them in Reveal: Messenger later this month, a handful of the writers went the extra mile, not just fulfilling an assignment, but creating original works that communicate the heart of what they discovered.
