Dear 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Parents,

I want to start off by saying I am very sorry for how far behind I am with grades.  I realize there aren’t very many grades in the grade book right now; the being of this school year has been a little hectic for me with a death in the family and being out of town.  I realize that is no excuse and I promise I continuing to put more and more grades in the grade book.  I appreciate your understanding and being patient with me.

I also want to tell you that I am considering give homework over the weekend.  The only reason for doing this is because we kind of lose a lesson Fridays when homework isn’t given out and then we have to make it up on Monday along with the new lesson.  If I give any homework out on Fridays the most amount of problems I will give is 10-15 problems or a worksheet.

Once again I apologize for being behind and I will work as quickly as I can to get caught up.
