Starting this week make a weekly short entry (at least 2 paragraphs) in a journal (handwritten or typed) about an issue of your choosing.  Make sure you summarize the article/story/research thoroughly and share your thoughts on the subject. 

I will call on one or two people randomly at the beginning of each class to share her findings with the class and I will collect the journals at the end of the semester.
