I am sending out this preliminary email because I want to make sure that each and every one of you
is "In the Know" about our upcoming Field Trip to Discovery Place.

We are still in the planning stages, yet already have the date set due to Fieldstone Presbyterian Church
being a polling place for the upcoming voting day on TUESDAY MAY 8th.

We will be needing drivers and Chaparones, so if you are available this day, please let us know as soon
as possible.

We will be gone all day long.

We will leave from Riverlife Fellowship at 8:15 SHARP.
We will return to Riverlife Fellowship at 2:45. Where you can pick up your child. 
No transportation will be provided to or from Fieldstone Presbyterian Church.

This is considered a regular school day and students will be assessed an absence if they do not attend.

We will stop at Starbucks on the way out, so make sure students have a small amount of cash if they
wish to purchase something for breakfast on the way to Discovery Place.

We will be bringing our COLD PACK lunches in DISPOSABLE CONTAINERS. 
Any student who brings a non-disposable lunchbox will have to carry it around for the rest of the day.
There are no microwaves there, however, if you want to buy a lunch I know they sell Pizza and a
few other selected items such as chips and juice.

Cost of the trip is yet to be determined exactly, but we will need to include gas money and admission for drivers
as well as admission for any Chaperones who are not driving.

Again, these are preliminary plans, but I wanted to give you a heads up early.

Thank you for allowing me the honor of spending time with your children, they are an amazing bunch of individuals
and I look forward to any and all time I get to spend with them.

I think it's going to be a fun time!  We have some activities planned that will excite the sense of wonder for science in our students.
