Tuesday the 27th- Their alphabet creative writing story is due tomorrow.

Thursday the 22nd- Students need to study their lesson 17 spelling and vocab words. They will have a quiz on them tomorrow and their test is on tuesday.

Thursday the 15th- Students have their spelling and vocab test tomorrow. They also have their literary terms test on tuesday to study for. Also, due tomorrow, is a creative writing story about their favorite place. They have to write it from two perspectives: looking down on it and looking up at it.

Wednesday the 14th- Students need to study for their spelling and vocab test on friday. They also need to study for their literary terms test on tuesday.

Tuesday the 13th- Students need to study their spelling/vocab words and their literary terms. Their literary terms test will be on tuesday, the 20th. They also need to create a story using only one-syllable words. (at least one paragraph)

Thursday the 8th- Students need to study their spelling/vocab words and their literary terms.

Wednesday the 7th- Students should be studying their spelling and vocab words from lesson 16.

Tuesday the 6th- Students have new spelling and vocab words from lesson 16 to study. They also have vocab sentences due tomorrow. They will be having their book test tomorrow as well.

Friday May 2nd- Students have reading questions/summaries due on tuesday. Their Final Draft of their research paper is due on tuesday as well. It must be typed.

Wednesday the 30th- Students need to by studying for their spelling and vocab test on friday. They also have new reading questions due on tuesday. Their Final Draft of their research paper (typed) is do on tuesday.

Tuesday the 29th- Students need to be studying for their spelling and vocab test on friday. They also have new reading questions due on tuesday.

Thursday the 24th- Students will have a spelling and vocab quiz tomorrow, so they should study! They also have reading questions due on tuesday. Their ROUGH-DRAFT of their research paper is also due on tuesday!

Wednesday the 23rd- Students have their new words to study. They can have a quiz at any time. They also have their reading questions due on tuesday.

Tuesday the 22nd- Students have new vocab words to study and new reading questions due next tuesday. Their vocab words written in sentences are due tomorrow.

Tuesday the 8th- Students need to study their spelling words and they also need to have their sources printed out for their paper. They also have reading questions due next tuesday.

Friday the 4th- Students have their reading questions due tuesday and words to study. Students also need to have brainstorming questions and at least 3 sources printed out for their paper. 

Thursday the 3rd- Students need to study their words and their reading questions are due on tuesday. Students also need to choose a topic for the research paper by tomorrow.

Wednesday the 2nd- Students should be studying their spelling/vocab words. They also have their reading questions due on tuesday.

Tuesday April 1st- Students have new spelling/vocab words to study and vocab words in sentences are due tomorrow. They also have new reading questions due next tuesday.

Friday the 21st- Reading questions due tuesday April 1st. Student's should also be practicing impromptu speaking.

Thursday the 20th- Spelling and vocab test tomorrow!!!! And reading questions are due on tuesday April1st.

Wednesday the 19th- Spelling and Vocab test lesson 13 is friday! Students also have their vocab sentences due tomorrow and their reading questions due the tuesday when they get back from break.

Tuesday the 18th- Students have new words this week and their test will be on friday! They also need to write their vocab words in sentences. These are due on thursday. Poem presentations are tomorrow. They also have new reading questions that are due tuesday April 1st.

Friday the 14th- Students have their reading questions due on tuesday. They also have their poem analysis due tuesday and their poem presentations will be on wednesday.

Thursday the 13th- Spelling and Vocab test is tomorrow! Students also need to read their chapters and answer their question by tuesday. They also have a poem analysis assignment, in which they need to analyze their assigned poem, which is due on tuesday. Their performances, reading their poem with meaning, will be on Wednesday.

Wednesday the 12th- Students will have a quiz tomorrow and their test on friday over their vocab words. They also have their reading questions due on tuesday.

Tuesday the 11th- Students need to study their words for a quiz this week and for their test on friday. They also have new reading questions that are due next tuesday.

Friday the 7th- Students need to study their words for a quiz and final test next week. They also have their reading chapters and questions to answer due tuesday. The final draft of their narrative paper is also due on tuesday. They need their: setting, character sketches, outline, rough-draft, editing sheets, and final draft. They may type their final.

Thursday the 6th- Students need to continue to study their spelling and vocab words and read their chapters and answer their questions. These are due on tuesday.

Wednesday the 5th- Students need to study their new words and write their vocab words in sentences. These are due tomorrow. They also need to read their chapters and answer their questions.

Tuesday the 4th- Students have a new spelling and vocab word list that they should be studying. They also have new reading chapters to read and questions to answer which are due on tuesday.

Friday the 28th- Students have reading questions due tuesday and their rough-draft of their narrative paper due tuesday.

Thursday the 27th- Students have new reading chapters and questions to answer in their books. These are due on tuesday. Students also have their spelling/vocab test tomorrow! (on lesson 11 words). They also have a narrative paper we are writing, and their rough-draft (handwritten) is due on tuesday. They need to have their outline, setting, character sketches, and rough-draft ready for tuesday.

Thursday the 20th- Students need to continue studying their words and reading their chapters and answering their questions. They also have 2 character sketches to list and write by tomorrow.

Wednesday the 19th- Students need to study their words and continue reading their chapters and answering their questions. They also need to write their vocab words in sentences. Those are due tomorrow. Students also need to finish writing their 1/2 page setting description for their narrative paper.

Tuesday the 18th- Students have a new word list to study. Their list is lesson 11. Students also have a new packet of reading questions and chapters to read in their book. These are due next tuesday.

Friday the 14th- Students have their book chapters to read and questions to answer. These are due tuesday. Students also need to come up with their narrative paper topic bu tuesday, and students need to write 1 paragraph about what they hear when they are silent for 5 minutes. This is also due on tuesday.

Thursday the 13th- Students have book chapters to read and questions to answer. They also have a spelling/vocab test tomorrow. Students also need to write a half-page description of their bedroom- due tomorrow.

Wednesday the 12th- Students need to be reading their book chapters and answering their reading questions. Those are due next tuesday. Students also need to be studying their spelling and vocab words for their test this friday.

Tuesday the 11th- Students have a new reading book. 6th grade is reading The Hatchet, 7th grade is reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and 8th grade is reading The Counte of Monte Cristo. 6th graders need to read 2 chapters per week and their reading questions are due on tuesday. 7th graders need to read 3 chapters this week and their reading questions are due on tuesday. 8th graders need to read 7 chapters per week and their reading questions are also due on tuesday. Students also need to be studying their spelling and vocab words from lesson 10 for their test on friday.

Wednesday the 5th- Students need to write their vocab words in sentences- due tomorrow!

Tuesday 4th- Students have a new spelling/vocab word list. They need to be studying their new words from chapter 10. They also need to be practicing their Merchant of Venice skits which we will perform tomorrow (wednesday).

Friday 31st- Students will have a test on The Merchant of Venice on tuesday. They also need to learn their lines and practice their skits for their performances on wednesday.

Thursday 30th- Students have their spelling/vocab test tomorrow over lesson 9. They also have their Merchant of Venice book reports due tomorrow. Next tuesday will be their test on The Merchant of Venice and next wednesday will be the day when students will perform their Merchant of Venice skits with their groups.

Wednesday 29th- Students need to continue to study their spelling/vocab words for their test on friday. They also have a book report on The Merchant of Venice due on friday.

Students will have their test on The Merchant of Venice next Tuesday, Feb 4th. They may need to study for it.

Tuesday 28th- Students need to study their spelling and vocab words for a quiz tomorrow.

Students also have a book report assignment based off of The Merchant of Venice due on friday. Students have a book report form to fill out and staple to their 1-2 page book report.
