Thursday the 22nd- Students need to study their lesson 17 spelling/ vocab and roots for a quiz tomorrow. Their test will be on tuesday. They also have reading chapter summaries due on tuesday.

Thursday the 15th- Spelling/Vocab/ Roots test tomorrow. Literary terms test on tuesday. And reading chapter summaries due on tuesday.

Wednesday the 14th- Students need to study their spelling/vocab words and roots for their test on friday. They also need to study for their literary terms test on tuesday. They have chapter summaries due on tuesday as well. Due tomorrow is their creative writing story written from two perspectives.

Tuesday the 13th- Students need to study their spelling/vocab words and roots. They also need to study their literary terms. Their literary terms test will be on tuesday the 20th. They also have their reading summaries for chapters 14-21 due on tuesday. They also need to create a story using only one syllable words due tomorrow. (at least a paragraph).

Thursday the 8th- Students needs to study their spelling/vocab words and roots. They also need to be studying their literary terms. Their reading questions are due on tuesday.

Wednesday the 7th- Students should be studying their spelling and vocab words and their roots. They also have roots in sentences due tomorrow. Their reading questions (Chapters 8-14) are due on tuesday.

Tuesday the 6th- Students have new spelling/vocab words from lesson 16 and new roots. They have vocab sentences due tomorrow and root sentences due on thursday. They also have new reading questions due next tuesday. They will be having a test on The Invisible Man tomorrow.

Wednesday the 30th- Students need to be studying for their spelling/vocab and roots test on friday. They also have reading questions due on tuesday. Their Final Draft (typed) is do on tuesday.

Tuesday the 29th- Students need to be studying for their spelling/vocab and roots test on friday. They also have new reading questions for the last book, "Treasure Island." Those will be due on tuesday.

Thursday the 24th- Students should be studying their spelling/vocab words and their roots for their test next friday. They also have reading questions that are due on tuesday. They should be finishing the Invisible Man this week. Their ROUGH-DRAFT of their research paper is also due on Tuesday!

Wednesday the 23rd- Students have their new words and roots to study. They could have a quiz at any time. They also have their reading questions due on tuesday. Their roots written in sentences are due tomorrow! Their current roots are from jud- pons.

Tuesday April 1st- Students have new spelling/vocab words to study and new roots. Vocab words in sentences are due tomorrow and roots in sentences are due on friday. They also have a new book to read- The Invisible Man- and their new reading questions are due next tuesday.

Friday the 21st- Students should finish reading their book and answer their reading questions. These are due on tuesday April 1st. They should also be practicing impromptu speaking.

Thursday the 20th- Spelling and vocab test for lesson 13 tomorrow! Reading questions are due on tuesday April 1st.

Wednesday the 19th- Spelling and vocab test for lesson 13 is friday! Students also have their vocab sentences due tomorrow and their reading questions are due on tuesday April 1st.

Tuesday the 18th- Students have new spelling and vocab words and their test will be on friday! They also need to write their words in sentences, which is due on thursday. They also have new reading questions, which are due on tuesday the 1st and their poem presentations will be tomorrow.

Friday the 14th- Students have their reading questions due on tuesday. They also have their poem analysis due on tuesday and their poem presentations due on wednesday.

Thursday the 13th- Spelling/Vocab/Roots test is tomorrow! Students also have their reading chapters and questions due on tuesday. They have a new assignment, analyzing their assigned poem, due on tuesday. Their performances, reading their poem with meaning, will be on Wednesday.

Wednesday the 12th- Students will have a quiz tomorrow and their test tomorrow over their vocab words and roots. They also have their reading questions due on tuesday.

Tuesday the 11th- Students need to study their words for a quiz this week and their test on friday. They also have new reading chapters and questions that are due next tuesday.

Friday the 7th- Students need to study their words and roots for a quiz and final test next week. They also need to read their chapters and answer their questions. Those are due on tuesday. The final draft of their narrative paper is also due on tuesday. They will need their: setting, character sketches, outline, rough-draft, editing sheets, and final draft. They may type their final draft.

Thursday the 6th- Students need to continue studying their new words and they have their roots to write in sentences which is due tomorrow. They also have their reading chapters to read and questions to answer which are due on tuesday.

Wednesday the 5th- Students need to study their new words and write them in sentences. These are due tomorrow. They also need to write their roots in sentences and those are due on friday. They also have their reading chapters and questions to answer due on tuesday.

Tuesday the 4th- Students have a new spelling and vocab word list and new roots to be studying. They also have new reading chapters and questions to answer. Those are due next tuesday.

Friday the 28th- Students need to finish their reading questions. These are due on tuesday. Students also have the rough-draft of their narrative paper due on tuesday.

Thursday the 27th- Students need to read their new reading chapters and answer their new questions in their book. These are due on tuesday. Students also have their spelling/vocab and suffix/roots test tomorrow! (on lesson 11). We are also writing a narrative paper and students need to have their rough-draft done for tuesday. (hand-written). Students need to have their outline, setting, character sketches, and rough-draft ready for class on tuesday.

Thursday the 20th- Students need to continue studying their words and suffixes/roots. They also need to continue reading their book chapters and answering their questions. They have their suffix/roots sentences due tomorrow and their 2 character sketches due tomorrow.

Wednesday the 19th- Students need to continue studying their vocab words and suffixes/roots. They also need to continue reading their book chapters and answering their questions. Those are due on tuesday. They also need to write their suffix/roots in sentences, which are due on friday. Their 1/2 page setting description is also due tomorrow.

Tuesday the 18th- Students have a new word list from lesson 11 and they need to be studying their new words. They also have 17 new suffixes/roots to be studying for their test. Students need to reach chapters 6-10 in their book and answer their new reading questions. These are due next tuesday. Vocab words in sentences are due tomorrow and suffixes/roots in sentences are due on friday.

Friday the 14th- Students need to read their book chapters and answer their questions. They also need to come up with their narrative paper topic, and they need to write 1 paragraph about what they hear when they are silent. All 3 of these assignments are due on tuesday.

Thursday the 13th- Students need to read their book chapters and answer their questions. These are due tuesday. They also need to study their words and suffixes for their test tomorrow. Students also need to write a half-page description of their bedroom.

Wednesday the 12th- Students need to read the first 5 chapters in their book and answer their reading questions. Those are due next tuesday. Students also need to be studying their spelling and vocab words and their 20 suffixes for their test on friday.

Tuesday the 11th- Students have suffix sentences due tomorrow. They also need to be studying their spelling and vocab words and suffixes for the test on friday. We have also just begun a new reading book, The Scarlet Pimpernel. Students need to read 5 chapters this week and answer their questions which are due on tuesday.

Wednesday 5th- Tomorrow is Hamlet performances! Students also need to write their vocab words in sentences due tomorrow. Suffix sentences are due next wednesday.

Tuesday 4th- Students have a new word list and new suffixes. They need to be studying there words and suffixes. Students will be performing their Hamlet skits on thursday. Students need to write their spelling/vocab words in sentences and those are due on thursday. Students also need to write their suffixes in sentences due next wednesday.

Friday 31st- Students have a test on Hamlet on tuesday and they need to learn their lines and practice their skits for their performances on wednesday.

Thursday 30th- Students have their vocab and prefixes test tomorrow. They also have a book report on Hamlet due tomorrow. Next tuesday will be their test on Hamlet and next wednesday will be the day when students need to perform their Hamlet skits with their groups.

Wednesday 29th- Students need to continue studying their spelling/vocab words and their prefixes and they have their book report on Hamlet due on friday.

Students will have their test on Hamlet next tuesday, Feb 4th.

Tuesday 28th- Students will need to study their spelling and vocab words and their prefixes for a quiz tomorrow.

Students also have a book report assignment over Hamlet that is due on Friday. They have a book report form they need to fill out and staple to the front of their 1-2 page book report.
