Dear Students and Parents,

As salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

Welcome to Chino Valley Islamic Center's Sunday School Level 5 class for the 2013/2014 school year. My name is Selena Khan Abdullah, and students may refer to me as Sister Selena. While this is my first year at CVIC, I have been teaching for the past 4 years walhamdulillah. It is an honor to be your teacher, and I look forward to an exciting and successful year with all of you.

Insha'Allah, we are planning many fun-filled and interactive activities for students to further reinforce the Islamic Studies concepts we will be studying. It is my goal to help students learn, practice, and develop a love for our beautiful deen to help mold them into active and contributing Muslim members of society. To maximize student learning, our class has a few rules and procedures, which all students will be expected to abide by. Parents and students should review the attached document together and sign and return the bottom portion by the next class. Insha'Allah, we will be using this online portal to help parents track student homework, progress, grades, and behavior.
